Trading my 2011 Max for a 2013 STI hatchback

What's good Fam I just figured I say my good byes now that I'm moving on said to say but I need something to modify and not have to worry about the CVT because I notices that after doing several mods like CAF, CBE, Cory's spacers which by the way are worth every penny if u haven't put those on ur 7th gen then what are u waiting for I thought that was the best mods of all it really opened up the car. But unfortunately my wife gave me the ok to get a standard car cause she knows I use to race back in the days and not to mention I just bought her a 2012 Toyota matrix AWD so she's happy. So anyways I'm getting a 2013 Subaru wrx STi 6 speed when I took this car for a yet drive it was love at first shift let me tell u what an amazing car AWD and it feels like ur in the cockpit of a raving car and not to mention with just $2500 ubcan get this car up another 120 HP just like that it's insane power. But just before i gave her up i won a car show for 1st place Nissan and 1st place sound systems at the same event and i have a nice portrait with two hotties holding my trophies on my Maximus.. So I wanted to take this time to thank u guys for all the support over the last year and shout out to my man ( Ghozt ) and Cory from CXJ performance much luv ya'll Keep maxing..

From: Boston Ma,
Yeah u right, I'm actually getting the hatch because I have to little girls 3 1/2 & 18 months old so that was one of the reasons my wife let me get it. To be honest with u I was on my was to a football game with her and we were on the highway in traffic and there she was OMG it was a all Black STI Hatchback she looked Sick especially the new ones with the wide body and those brembo big brakes factory 18" BBS gun metal rims I was lost in my head I wanted to follow this car all the way home lol.. Let me snap out of it anyways she said oh that's a nice family car I like subaru's so right there and then I knew that I was gonna get one. So that up coming weekend I went to the dealership and to my surprise u can't just go there and buy one they are actually made to order from Japan which I think is cool but the wait time is 3 months or so errrrr and no to mention they didn't even have one in stock. They told me that these cars sell really fast so the chances of u test driving one is going to be rare? I was like are u kidding me wtf so I called every dealership in mass looking for one and low an behold I found a spot that had one so I scheduled a test drive and let me tell u once u get into the car u feel like ur in the seat of a racing car it's pure sport not luxury a little but it's all about power. It has a built in rev limiter that u can set to ur own specs but the best thing of all is the turbo settings there is 3 different settings Eco , sport, sport + which is insane the AWD is crazy u can also adjust that as well for instance u can make it so it's 80/20 or 20/80 or 60/40 u get the picture from front and back OH and the other thing is when u turn her on which by the way is a key not a push button but who cares but when u turn that key and hear that boxer engine it's music to my ears lol.. Bucket leather and suede seat with the STI logo and red stitching is sweet and the other reason I'm getting this ride is that from the factory u can have short shifters put in exhaust turbo boost gauge ect.... So as u can see I'm in love and now matter what I'll always have respect for my Maxima's for sure but it's limited to what u can do due to that CVT and automatic tranny. But other than that I hook my maxima to the MAX and got more looks & compliment with that car she is sweet. I also restored her back to factory everything.. Well again y'all keep Maxing and I'll definitely check in here in there to see what's new in the Maxima world...

From: Boston Ma,
I think that the hatches look sick when hooked up and not to mention u can literally make this car completely carbon fiber I mean every last part not that I will but the parts and mods are endless with this car. I plan on doing what they call a STAGE 2 with a custom tune which I heard is a dramatic increase in power on top of the power it has no which is already Sick. But again it's a completely different animal. Yeah but I prefer the hatch it to me looks mean.

I'd much rather see you in a larger, luxury sedan with v6...
How about Ford Taurus SHO?
I just thought back to my own car buying history, and realized that I haven't owned a 4 cylinder since my mitsubishi eclipse awd turbo. Ever very since then has been a v6.
Or how about a 5 year old bmw m5? You can probably get one for $30k-ish if you look.
Either way, those sti models are awesome...a fine car indeed.

Nice, I sell those new and used for a living and they are a blast. However, I hate the sound system in them, it makes my Bose seem like an aftermarket JL system. Why not wait for the redesigned 2014 next spring.

From: Boston Ma,
Yeah man, I think them new ford shows are crazy fast but I'm not a ford guy. As far as going down to a 4 banger u could even tell its a 4 cylinder bro this car is crazy fast and very rugged feel to it like u have complete control of the pavement.. As for that M5 them ****s is insane but the maintenance on them is crazy $$$ lol... It's a big change Iknow especially in luxury car the STI is all about performance not to luxury like the Max but it's very nice inside but yeah ima miss my maximus for sure Ghozt keep representing along with everyone else in this forum.
