Anyone actually install H&R Spacers on the Maxima?

I'm wondering if anyone has actually installed H&R spacers on the Maxima. I guess the fitment guide shows only for 370z which should be the same? I have always used H&R in the past so I was just wondering. Also are people who are spacing say 20MM on stock rims having to roll the rear fenders at all?

Thanks Ghozt. Good to know that I don't have to roll.

For some reason I got a drop of only 1.1"-1.2" with my Eibachs. I really wanted H&R spprings but they are not available. I have the Ichaba spacers and zero problems.

Spoke with the shop that is lowering my car and they sounded iffy on putting on V2 style spacers. Said they had never put on those kind. Not making me feel great about going out and putting them on LOL.

Yeah, I know what you mean. There are some shops that don't want anything to do with wheel spacers. They don't want to be held liable should anything go wrong whether they had anything to do with it or not.
This is why I did my own spring and spacer install myself. Then went to a shop for an alignment. They didn't notice the spacers installed and I didn't tell them they were there.
The V2 spacers are used by numerous members here without any issues.
My car rides great and tracks nice and straight.

Yeah I rode my V2's for like 9 months before taking them off for the Rays. No problems at all, loved them. Don't let one shops hesitation scare you, shops all over the place are scared of all kinds of aftermarket installs. I had one shop not want to use my BlueBatMobile tint to do my tails cause they were afraid it was too thin. Lots of shops are just stupid.

Thanks guys. I will probably lower it and make sure all is well then add spacers or new rims in a few months.

When you add spacers, do you replace the lug studs with longer ones? I've never really thought about it until now... (maybe that means I am working out the logistics sub-consciously as I plan to add them at some point)

Google ichiba, and look at pictures of their two styles. I think they're V1 and V2. I had the same question a while ago.

depends on the spacers. im finding for the thinner thicknesses (1-15mm) Ichiba offers a V1 which includes longer studs. pain in the *** with these if you have to remove the calipers to install the new studs.

above 15mm though, they offer a V2 (which some people are scared of, but are fine) which have their own studs. these are really easy to install you just bolt them onto your wheel hub.

just remember to torque to mfctr recommendations and re-torque after a few hundred miles to the exact specifications. too loose, they'll fly off, too tight they'll warp the spacer and eventually fly off.
