Access to top of rear struts

Hey guys-

I installed a D2 Coilover set up and I'm trying to find a way to adjust the dampers without dropping the rear struts. I have the folding rear seats and have looked everywhere that's easy to gain access to them.

I'm not finding a way.

Does anyone know if it is possible?

Jack the car up and reach up into the wheel well where the strut mounts at the top. Feel around for the ****. Lefty loosey (soft) righty tighty (hard).

There's no access to it as the mounting plate is in the way?

See that's just it, I can't find where those would enter the trunk even if they were long enough. I've pulled back the carpet and felt around, have not pulled the rear deck though.

Where is the access hole for them in the trunk?

i dont know about the maxima but probably there's none... meaning you might have to drill your own access....

you can't access it without removing the struts.

the megan coils have the ***** on the side so u can easily adjust it. I believe the bc coils are same way.

but if your **** is on top, then you have no other choice but to drop the assembly.

Nissan cut off easy access to the top of the rear shocks/struts starting with the 6th gens. Like others have said, your best bet is to either get a setup that you adjust on the side or cut some type of access hole for a remote adjuster and route it inside the car.
