Fall Detailing Pics
I used meguiars gold class liquid soap, followed by gold class liquid wax I applied via d/a, then meguiars spray detailer.I skipped the polishing this time as it didn't need it.
Thanks for the compliments.

Looks very nice. I like the Meguiars stuff. Haven't really cared to detail a car until I bought my max a few months ago. Since then Meguiars has collected quite a bit of my money. Lol. Thinking about trying this zaino stuff that seems to be all the rage.
Lol my last car had zero detailing done and now I have products coming out my $?!. I've always wanted to try the zaino as well. Let me know how it works. I think my next purchase will be a foam cannon for my pressure washer though, just looks like fun!
Got to love a nice clean black car. I'm glad Nissan offers variants on black like Crimson Black and Malbec Black for Infiniti. Otherwise I would have had three black cars in a row. I'll have to pick up a black 8th gen when they come out.
I put my first coat of wax on this past weekend. It's really slick now and stays much cleaner. I do get dirt spots after just 1 day (the curse of owning a white car) but they all spray right off...no need for soap really with a fresh coat of wax.
I'll be looking to get another coat on before the winter hits full force. I am in the market for a random orbital buffer...I have one that's like 10 years old and never used...the rubber parts are all sticky and tacky, but the motor has never been used. Well, I used it last weekend with some nitrile goves to avoid the tacky rubber parts.
It's between the Griot's Garage and the Porter Cable. Both are like $120 give or take from amazon (I am a Prime member).
I've chosen Turtle Wax Ice as my line of products to start out with. I have their waterless car detailer, spray wax, liquid wax, and wash concentrate.
I use the spray detailer and spray wax in the door jambs, and the spray wax also goes on the wheels. I picked the liquid wax specifically because it's safe to use on all external surfaces of the car. I don't have to be careful, or tape anything off. Even with that crappy buffer I own, it took like 45 minutes to wax my car...it would have taken hours to do it by hand with a conventional paste wax...and still a long time with a buffer if I had to take my time watching out of rubber trim pieces and getting the paste out of every crack.
If I can get my wax time down to a half hour, I'll wax my car every month
