Help! Question about struts

Hey, so I installed eibach springs this week (love them). They look sick. At first the ride was so stiff and I was kind of like "ohh crap this is what everyone was talking about" but then after 1.5 days they settled and I can barely tell now. I live in FL n it's pretty flat anyways....I have 65,000 miles on my car, when my mechanic installed the springs he said the shocks looke pretty worn out and with the new springs would only last a month or two. I tried looking online and could not find any aftermarket struts and shock... Any one know if thy exsist. I also wanted to ask how I would know my shocks are shot....this weekend I plan on putting on 20inch vossens on my max, ill post pics when they're on.

There are some ways to test, but if I was going to go to the trouble of chaning my springs, I'd surely get new shocks installed at the same time (considering 65K miles). You'd have saved some labor...but whatever.

Shocks can last past 65K miles and oftentimes do...but once you pass 60K miles, replacing the shocks is not a waste of money, it just buys you another 60K + miles before you need to think about doing it again. Had you put on the springs at like 10K miles...maybe then I'd suggest keeping them until around the 60K mark, or when it's obvious that you need to replace them.

If your car drives ok then just ride them till they blow. Usually u can test them by pushing the strut down to see if they pop back up.

Im almost certain the altima struts bolt right up to the a35 body.

Oh ! And does anyone know when to change/ flush the cvt fluid. I bought the car with 30,000 miles and now it's at 65,000 miles. I've never done anything other than oil change every 4 miles
