sorry maybe i have so many Q

i want know about the maxima tune i ask before and they said to me used UpRev tune ..

my Q is can we control on the RPM ?

as EX : can we open the RPM to 8 or 9 ?

 

i do believe that yes the Uprev tune gives you the ability to change the rev limiter and reach higher RPMs

 

i ask they told me i cant because its CVT !!

I learned some Movement to make the RPM to 6600 or 7000 but win i make it the race stop and come " check engine " light !!

 

any more ideas ??

 

The redline is the maximum safe operating engine RPM. Why do you want to rev the engine to a higher RPM? The peak torque occurs well before the red line. Higher RPM at the top CVT gear ration will only give you additional speed. However, this is not a racing car and the tires, brakes and suspension are not design for anything over the red line.

 

Can you even get the Max to red-line? I feel like mine always shifts before that.

 

^ manual mode i have accidentally hit redline in 1st gear...forgot to shift...so i am assuming that goes along with other gears

 

Exactly. Maxima is not a race car. It's FWD full size sedan with under 300hp and a CVT transmission. embrace it

 

Believe it or not..After installing some of my mods...when I gun it..it redlines sometimes..and I have to keep off of the gas just a tad..for it to shift..but it only happens sometimes..lately I have been okay..but I am not sure why...

Yeah sometimes I redline in 1st gear bc I accidentally keep my hand on the shift **** bc I used to drive stick..and It would just be a habit..that and bc I am in another world at times
