All Season Tires

I think we should have a dedicated thread here on All Season tires what people have used and liked and would recommend using. We all know the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's aren't very good at all.

A good tire is a good tire regardless of what year it is mounted on.

I've been wanting the Continental ExtremeContact DWS, but it's pretty much sold out everywhere here. TireRack says it won't be available until at least 12/21.

I recently put Michelin Primacy MXV4's on mine. They are V-rated, just as the RS-A's were, but ride better and quieter.

I really wanted to like the DWS's, but picked the Michelins after hearing complaints of road noise on the DWS's from multiple sources after 15-20K.

If you don't want a SUPER performance allseason (like you don't do any snow driving really), check out the Michelin Defender tires. We'll be likely replacing my wife's Outback's old Toyos with those. plus, with an 80K treadlife warranty, can't beat that.

+1 I just put on my second set...got almost 120K out of them with 4/32 left. Of course, here in Florida we have two seasons...wet and dry. I was only in snow/ice once when I went back to the Ozarks to see the folks a year or so ago. They worked fine for me there too.

Second best is the Michelin Primacy MXV4 (with a rating of 66) which is also a solid choice for most weather conditions, and for those who place high value on long tread life.
