3 Maxima's in a row

While driving to work this morning I noticed a crimson black max in front of me on the interstate. Then about 5 minutes later we come up on a slate colored one.( I have the silver). At one point we were all side by side. Representing , Max style! I wish i had a pic. I drive my wife crazy pointing out all the 7th gens I see.

Lol. I say that all the time "Check out that 7th gen". She says "Is that what all your forum friends call it?" Yes, dear. Yes it is. Lol

Agreed..Its been Max central lately in my area too. I swear as soon as I hooked up my Maxima in my town..more and more people seem to be doing the same modifications as my car..hmm Interesting...I'm such a trendsetter...LOL!

It's a great car..they should be plenty of us out there..we deserve it.

Gotta rep the love. I always cruise with other Maxima's on the highway ... esp Gen 7's.

lols, I love when this happens. Although, I guess around here, I've noticed a lot of 7th gen owners are old people. They don't really appreciate impromptu convoys

There have been times I would pull up next to another Maxima..and be so happy just to realize that it is an old person driving..and I would be like...this is awkward and then I gun it lmao

I always try to pull alongside another 7th gen and enjoy the mutual admiration between us for each others cars. Usually eye contact while driving is brief and awkward, but between two maxima owners, it's all good. We know. Lol

Two sides to every story ... what'd you do to provoke 'em?

Just kiddin ... I think Maxima's have a certain look about them that incites people into doing that sort of thing.

I had a Gen 3 TL pace me for like 10 miles a few hours ago. I'm talking to Ma dukes on the bluetooth about Christmas stuff and this guy is next to me speeding up and slowing down. Can't be sure but I think he finally got p!ssed and gunned it ... I can only remember telling my mom about the AAM Cat-back I wanna get

I agree shipwreck, 80% of the time it's someone over 60 and they don't seem to care that there's another 7th Gen passing them. The past year I have seen a lot more on the road up here in New Hampshire.

I see older people driving usually the S and occasionally an SV premium. I have never seen an older person driving an SV sport, probably due to the stiffer suspension and tires.

I too can add that most of them I see are driven by the elders who don't even glance around. But usually they are S-trim.

The lease rates advertised around here are around $200/mo (for the teaser car, but still, that is rock bottom cheap), so people are grabbing them left and right lately.

I def have seen an increase in my area as well. Some are for the most part older people, but I would have to say it is a mix. One guy has 20s with no drop and another has some 22s. Other than that, nobody else around here has any work done to theirs. I just take pleasure in seeing a LE edition blacked out with the driver acting like their car is modded for them to stare at me the entire time as I am passing them, haha

Also, I found the first 7th gen I bought and traded in back in Aug. '11 ('09 SV Sport) about a month ago, and turns out that the guy's great-aunt was my great-grandmother, haha. He is like 60+ and said he liked the 19s and the darker than legal tint that I had on the car, haha.

I remember seeing your post about that! That's pretty awesome, and just like you said in that other thread, keeping the Maximas in the family!
