Moving up in the World!

Just stepped up to a 2010, from a 2005.

I heard people wanting to know prices of new maximas.

2010
25k miles
SV
Monitor/Cold Pkgs
listed for 26,000, got them down to 22,995 with a 7,000 trade.

Looking forward to being a part of the 7th gen now.

Nice man!

This is/was a very similar deal to mine, though I didn't get close to 7g for my trade (03 Max).

Is my math a little off? It listed for 26,000 and they gave you 7,000 for your trade-in. By my calculation, that comes to 19,000. And you paid 22,995 out the door?

I'm pretty sure you should interpret it like this ...

26,000 List price
23,000 Negotiated price
Now throw in the -7000 for trade
Plus TTL

I'm guessing the total came to about 18 grand

congrats on a great purchase!

I am a little jealous now as I just stepped up from my '99 Max SE on Dec 31st

2010 Max SV w/ cold pkg only.
32k miles (9 days of 36 month warranty remained )
Nissan Certified Warranty
listed for 23k , got it for 22.3k, no trade in. I got nowhere on haggling the price. Maybe your trade in was something they can make a killing on.
I wanted monitor pkg also, but couldnt find the right car for the right price .

no total loan is 15,800.

What i did was talk them down on the 10 first, they asked if I had trade I said no (even tho i did) Talk them down to 22995, then I went and said eh you know what I trade my car in here rather then sell it on my own, well now they have to take trade off of 22995, came to like 17 something out the door, and I dropped 1500 down just to make it easier for my payments, im only 20, with my first car payment lol

Negotiate the price then hit em in the stomach with the trade in. That's exactly what I did when I bought my last vehicle. Good to know the below 30 age group is just as smart as ever. I just picked up my 4th Nissan and 3rd Maxima overall, add gas then enjoy the ride.
