Anyone have any rust on their Max My 2011 has a little rust bleeding thru from the chrome piece above the rear license plate!! Seems to be coming from under the chrome!! Going to get it checked out!

Yup...i got some showing there too...i belive its avtualy from teh holes in the trunk that mount that piece

 

Same here. Dealer is replacing the chrome bezel and taking care of the rust. Its a 2012 that I bought 4 months ago.

 

unfortunately it will come back in time...once its there...its there

 

can you have that chrome spaced out from the holes a little bit with some small rubber grommets?

 

Nissan agreed to paint the trunk lid. At the body shop now.

 

have them repaint the trunk part and leave the chrome bezel piece off..
or have them paint it to match the car...

 

my buddy had the same problem tho with his maxima..rusting in the same area..

nissan should put a bulletin out on this, lots of cars with this issue,,No car should be rusting anywhere after a year or 2 even..never mind a few months...
