Hmm.. I don't know.
For some reason, I think either way would look good, just make sure to polish or clear coat the lip instead of just matte.
Reminds me of that 4thgen Panda person. He/She was unique like that, yet it still looked pretty good.

EDIT: Obviously, remove the sticker lol.

if you leave it, paint the bottom bumper a flat black so it matches your lip.

Mia Shift, I'm thinking of getting a Stillen lip myself, where did you get yours painted, and how much did it run you?
Thanks

I trust you already have your answer... An alternative is to paint it one color and place a wrap in the middle...

I never even thought of painting the lip myself but it looks like it would be about 50% cheaper to just spray paint it.

The pics look pretty good!

How would you rate the quality of doing it yourself vs having an auto body shop do it?

Did you have to sand the lip prior to painting?

After you installed the lip, did you blend the bumper with the aerosol can?

How many coats did you do? Three base, two clear?

Thanks man!

I like to do mods myself, keeps me entertained lol it was pretty easy, long as you take your time with the project. I hit the lip with a scotch pad and comet, made sure it was all dull, hit it with a adhesion primer, basecoat, mid coat and finally a clear coat... 3 coats each.., started to prep Friday night... Was thinking about painting middle black but once I tried it on, I liked the way it looked all white, I'll prob paint it black In the future but for now it'll stay white, hope that helps!

MIA..did you paint it in the garage or outside. Maybe I will give it a shot of doing this myself because I Keep getting paint chips from rocks. Do I have to recoat anything because it is already painted? Or can I just go over it? Do I have to sand anything or smooth it out? and 3 Coats of how many minutes in between!

Whattup Guido! I painted in garage, keeps bugs and dust out! Stunk of the crib a bit tho lol ughhhh I'm guessing its inevitable to not have chips, I'm already thinking of when and how to touch up when it comes up...I'm guessing I will mask off, scuff up lightly with a scotch pad and do the whole process all over.... I waited 30min for each coat.... The clear I waited a day! Are you on the org on Facebook?
