Just installed a stillen intake on my 09 max

Just installed a stillen intake on my 09 max
There is a tube or hose underneath the new air intake but their is no opening for the intake. Does this tube stay open. There is only one opening for a little tube but thats it. I left it alone and it it sounds ok. Is this normal with a new stillen air install?

Any pics of it? Might just be the "sound generator" tube that leads into the firewall.

Thanks man. I just left it alone. The pipe goes no where and it can be left alone after you install your new intake.

that tube does nothing other than generate noise for the stock intake. yes - generate noise.
