Sure, just call your local dealer of choice and ask!

at 45k they will quote you 500 or 600, if you don't know what you want and need they will quote you a price for everything, 190 could cover an oil change an air filter, some new wiperblades, and a bunch of little BS

Dealers are good like that , they will always let you over pay for uneeded service. I just trade in a 1997 I30T with original plugs and wires and tranny fluid at 200K that has alot of life left and was getting 23 mpg city

If I plan on keeping the car I am doing my first major service at 60K which includes the CVT and coolant.

Up until 60K it's oil, filter, rotations, wiper blades, air filter,in cabin filter as reccomended by Nissan

The 3750 service (oil change) is $25 so no need to go anyplace but the dealer for that

For me 60K miles will come around the 10 year mark so I may opt for a new car as opposed to what by then will be close to a $1,000 service bill

We ran the 2007 Maxima for 91,000 miles with just syn oil/filter changes every 5-6,000 miles. Air filter every 12,000 miles and cabin filter every 20,000 miles. Plan to do the same on the 2012 Maxima.
A lot of the suggested Nissan maint is to "check" this and "check" that.....no real parts or work...just a lot of expensive looking. Save your money.

Thanks for all the insight. Does nissan require all these checkups to keep warranty in effect? Does not getting all the extra checks done void the warranty?

Don't let them scare you into believing if you don't change the air filter the car will blow up most stuff that I saw that voided warranties was no oil change ever, so severe neglect of maintenance.

Take advantage of the dealer oil changes, they advertise oil change and 100 point inspection, that 100 point inspection cover everything they charge you for on the 30k service.

Or do what I do and go in just for a Trans service or Coolant service Power steering fluid I just suck it out with a turkey baster, brakes I get done when I need new brakes.

All the other stuff is little things that everyone keeps up on

I generally do my own work, I know how, and I hate dealers

The 30K service also includes a tire rotation, in cabin micro filter, Engine Air filter, Wiper blades and reinitialize TPMS none of which are included in the 3750 oil change.

Is it overpriced at $190 , somewhat but 30K miles for me is about 5 years. I can't rotate the tires myself or do the TPMS. The oil/filter , the 2 air filters and wiper blades will cost me about $70. I hear varying reports on how difficult the in cabin filter is especially since I'm a weightlifter and may not fit in the spot to change the filter as well

After doing all the I work still need to pay for a tire rotation and get rid of the used oil.

I'd rather drop my car off , pay the extra $90 ( asssuming $30 for rotation an oil disposal) for Labor and go golfing, lol

The dealer is baiting you with the $190 hoping to stick you for much more

I was a Nissan Tech at one time so I know the game, Im not saying not to bring your car to the dealer, Im just saying, know what your having them do, they actually charge you reasonable prices for what they do for individual jobs, when they group everything together they can hide and overcharge you, and thats when you feel ripped off by them

I've seen reports of people saying the in cabin filter was $90 alone installed at the dealer but I show it as part of the 45K service for $190

Seems it's about the same or maybe even cheaper than paying for each as when packaged as it inlcudes oil, air filter, tire rotation, wiper blades, TPMS and a host of other checks

I think where they get you is saying you need additional service not included in the 30K service ie the $130 fuel induction service or $70 throttle body service
