Rims with class

Hey now,

I work for a Fortune 100 company... Not that I'm a "boss" but I do need to cruise into this parking lot every day. I want to mod and need to do it with style/class.

I drive a 2010 SV Winter Frost...

It's almost summer so it makes sense to throw some summer wheels on that b*#ch!

I'm leaning toward five-spoke.. I've seen some Beamer rims on Maxs that look nice. Nassehdude posted this pic with GTR rims which are about as flashy as I'd get:

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of mixing rims from one car company with a vehicle from another.

Ever seen a Chrysler C300 emblazoned with Bentley regalia ??? That's not style/class. That's downright tacky.

The other thing you might wanna think about are your brakes. A five spoke rim is gonna show a lotta caliper/rotor.

GTR rims are nice, but they're also a hot commodity. Mix and match multiple wheel locks per wheel.

The (2013) 370Z rims are pretty sweet looking on the Max, though they might be more sporty than you're looking for.

So sporty-flashy then.

Maybe the Volk GTS or GT-C line. That's a bit more sporty. Enkei RPF03s are also in this category.

Vossen Cv3 are lovely but a bit more flashy. Optionally the Stance SC5 or Rohana Rc2.

Men. I dunno. Find something in your taste. Don't forget to check the stickied wheel thread.

If you want style and class and you have a winter frost, you may want to do the VIP look. Buy coilovers like D2, BC, Ksport, and Megan, and then slam it to the ground. If you want 5 spoke wheels, there's this wheel called TSW mirabeau, get an agressive offset and a tire stretch. For the fronts, get 20x10 +25 and rear 20x10.5 +20 and get your fenders rolled at the rear. You wanted style and class, this is what I suggested.

IMO throwing on wheels and not lowering your car is just lazy. You want to be able to throw on wheels and give your Maxima a wide/stanced out look. Drop and wheels play a huge factor for that look. Then maybe add the stillen lip and color match it to your car.. Give it a clean complete look.

Lowering your Max also give you a better low center gravity. You can take corners better and confidently.

Here's some pics of white maximas that I personally love.

My boy's Max. Dropped on BC coilovers (w/ extreme drop kit) aka showoff haha, 19 inch OEM wheels. CLEAN

Westwood's Max: 20 inch Vossens dropped on Megan coilovers CLEAN

The infamous D rob's Max. Yeah it's the lowest max I've seen so far. CLEAN

Trust me, dropping your max gets you attention. Heads break/snap, fingers pointing etc.... Ever since I dropped my car on D2 coilovers with 20's on, people love it. Even cops pull me over, give me a ticket, check out my Max, and complement my car LOL

I live in New Jersey and snow this year wasnt that bad. I saw 8 inches in my area. But I was on Eibach springs. I recently switched over to coils. Its only been 3 months I had them on. When winter comes, I'm obviously going to raise up my max and buy those coilover sleeves to protect them salt. D2 can be found from the D2 website. I bought my coilovers used for $500. They were barely used but I sent them to D2 to get fixed up just to be on the safe side before I get them installed offically. I also had the spring rates changed from 8K all around to 12K front 11K rear. Dampers are 5 clicks away from full stiff

I have seen members rock the Vossen and giovannas. The infiniti M also has some sweet rims. Mc design whips in youtube has some nice videos.

If you're willing to drop some serious cash, go with some AG Forged wheels. A couple of winter frost A35s on this forum are rocking AG wheels and they're the cleanest 7th gens I've ever seen.

I want to drop my Max but definitely not that low. I would rather a modest drop with 19's or 20's that are scaled down (like the M56 wheels). I don't find the extreme drop to look "VIP" and aside from that these roads in Houston are terrible unless you want a minced meat bumper. The car looks good though.

That is one of the down side of being really low.
It is beyond the angle they were designed for.
There are a few companies (Raxle for one) that make beefed up components. Don't know if anyone makes them for this car though.
