Hey guys I'm looking to get back into Maximas. So I'm looking to get a 7th gen and was wondering if there were any issues to look for? My old 05 had tranny issues and I don't want to get back into that. Thanks guys.

 

The car is generally very reliable. Go for the newer models that had some bugs worked out of them like steering wheel lock etc. Also look at the tires, the Goodyear R-RSA are not the best tires in the industry, but they are cheap.

 

the 09's have a steering column lock-out issue thats affected a bunch of people and left em stranded. same issue affects the Z's and GTR's of that year. search for the thread on here it'll tell you how to disable that if you buy an 09

 

I would buy a 2010 or newer if I were you. The newer the better.
