I have a Maxima with Navigation. Anytime i try to use the voice command, iPod doesn't come up as a source. Has this every been fixed in a software update or am i missing something.

Also, is there any easier way of searching for a song then scrolling? I assumed i could directly type the song name somewhere (or use voice search).

 

It was raining pretty hard down here in Florida, so while I was in the parking lot I decided to go through the help system. I figured my first question out myself.

The system only announces by voice the first 5 sources, which are FM, AM, XM, CD, Music Box. But there is another page that shows USB, Bluetooth Audio, and AUX.

Still cant figure out a way to get directly to a song by typing it or voice though on the iPod
