Illuminated kick plates & puddle/ground lights

I have a 2010 SV... I notice on the NISSAN website it says they are only for the 2012 - 2013 models.. Is there a way that I can still add this option to my 2010???

I'm also interested in the installation. The thread only has the instructions for the illuminated kick plates (which I may install at a later time). However any known installations for 2009-11 external ground lighting aka puddle lights would be great.

Nissan has a write-up they already made for the puddle light install.

Thanks for the input Ghozt. I did print out the write-up and took it to a local custom shop since the dealership is stuck on the fact it's for 2012-models. Anyways the guy said they can do it no problem for $280 ( that's unless the wiring in the fuse box hasn't chagned) but if the connectors and wiring is different for the 2010 model it'll be $380. I guess they're trying to save me some money and them the headache of finding the right connectors...a good trade off in my opinion. Any help would be greatly apprecaiated and I've seen your posts many times in the forums so I trust your advice and knowledge. Thanks in advance!

That a lot for the job I think honestly. The difference in connectors wouldn't matter because you could just tap in to the connector via "tap-in" connectors.
