Footwell Bulb Problems

I am currently in the process of changing all of my interior lights blue. I have managed to change all of them except the footwells. For some reason they will not come out. I've tried turning and pulling and for some reason they will not budge. I really do not what them to shatter by applying too much pressure. Any Pictures/Videos that may help me?

According to Sylvania, it's a wedge-type bulb that should just pull right out (lloking at both step/courtesy entries). Although in my experience, they are not always correct. I know my friend's Jeep used a bayonet style bulb that you twist and then it should just come out once the pins on the base are aligned with the openings on the socket. Maybe someone else that has changed them will chime in and verify the kind of bulb it is.

The foot well bulbs were the biggest pain in the *** to get out. I shattered my driver's side bulb and used a pick set to get that bulb out. The passenger one I just kept yanking on until it came out.

I thought they were super easy. in the back of the opening you can twist out the whole clip then replace the bulb.

Grego I tried the pick and that didn't work but it was 108° and I was sweating more than a virgin in a frat house. I had a piece of plastic that I used to put on the bulb while the light was on and it stuck to the light due to the heat and I was able to get a really good grip with a towel. You should try that. I shattered my bulb on the passenger side and it was hell. Just stay persistent.

I have honestly tried everything, even with a towel I cannot get a good grip. I have really big hands I cannot get a good angle at it. I guess my footwells will stay stock ugly orangish white. Thanks for all your help guys.
