+1 I hate too much of a shine on the dash. Also you shouldn't use a cleaner on you leather unless it is super dirty and condition once a month but I do it once a week . I think I use blue coral but I do like lexol

I use a damp micro fiber cloth on my dash, some of the products attract dust

What are you guys using for the tires to get them black ? I have some black magic but even after letting it sit a hour it ends up spraying onto the paint

Thanks

Amazon.com: einszett Cockpit Premium - 16.9 fl. oz.: Automotive Amazon.com: einszett Cockpit Premium - 16.9 fl. oz.: Automotive

Use this and you will not regret it. Never use armor all on your car unless you want the sun to blind you and crack your plastics. Ammonyc products are great too.

Seriously get the einszett and it even smells great

When i worked as an auto detailer, we used to take detail spray meant for interiors and spray the tires with it. Any product you use i would recommend wiping it off after it sits. It will still shine the tire without flinging off. I may be wrong but i doubt there are any penetrating properties to tire shine. In other words it just sits on top of the tire waiting to fly off.

I actually use water and murphys oil soap to clean dirt off of all interior, except leather, then I use Zaino Z-16 the Perfect tire gloss for the dash and all rubber products inside of cockpit, and I use Z-9 and Z-10 for leather cleaning and conditioning, When you are done the car smells like a leather factory and looks great and has no shine or glare at all!! great products

The dash on my 09 is difficult to clean. It has become very sticky. Even when trying to clean it with lint free wipes. Anyone else have this issue. if so what was the solution?

Thanks for the reply. My car is in the hot Florida the majority of the day. So I'm hoping the material is deteriorating under the heat.

I use a product called 303 for the plastics in my car. You get it at boat supply places. I used it on my 02 jetta and the plastics always looked great inside and out.

Damp warm water towel on the dash.
Stoner's MSLT (more shine less time) on the tires- once around for matte anf twice around for shiney- available at many big box stores and from Stoner directly. Their Trim Shine, Invisible Glass, Tarminator products are also very good. You can mix and match at the case price.

Invisible glass is the best thing out there for windows imo, but I have never tried any of their other products.

I typically use just water and a microfiber cloth. I don't understand why people are using chemicals products including any kind've soap on something to remove only dust on a dashboard. Now, if you stated that it was stained with something ( I can't imagine what on this dash) then yea, I will say use something harsher to remove the stain.
After that I use a quality leather conditioner, very thin coat then I buff the remainder off.

It's weird that your dash is sticky but never-the-less, IMO the best way to go with this is a degreaser; diluted of course. Purple power works very well when diluted down. After that, use another microfiber cloth to remove the residue and then a quality leather conditioner you won't be disappointed.
