Debagding info plz!!!!

What's up my fellow maxi ppl lol.. I was seeing if I could get some info or thoughts, I really don't like the maxima badge. I just took the Carmax sicker off that wasn't to bad. But now the Maxima badge has to go lol. Now mine is a 2009 so it's been on there for sum time. I seen the tread and i really don't want dat ghost looking fade on my car.. Later on I do plan on painting it and get the clear film laid on the front to help protect, but till then I'm not trying to ride like that. Any info would be appreciated!!!

Just wax it. You can also clay the area too.

This is something that prolly needs to fade over time. So you may have to deal with it in the short term.

I just took my maxima badge off and mine is a silver 09 cant even tell it was there. super easy to take off too all I needed was fishing line (heat gun optional) rubbing compound and wax.

A trick i learned for removing adhered emblems. Take a piece of fishing line and use it like dental floss to get between the emblem and body of the vehicle. The fishing line actually cuts throught the glue or adhesive that is holding the emblem to the painted surface of the car. This helps in two ways 1.) No damage to the cars paint. 2.) Less glue or adhesive left on the cars surface to clean up. Denatured alcohol works well on some glue/adhesives.

Paint thinner (lacquer thinner) is the best. I also wetsanded the areas on mine after i removed them then buffed.
