Vinyl Wrapping - PICS

Finally finished doing all the vinyl wrapping on my 2012 Sport. I used 3M 1080 gloss black vinyl from www.metrorestyling.com.

I love the way it turned out. Wrapped the roof, roof spoiler, antenna, mirrors, window trim, front upper and lower grille. I'm thinking about doing a rear diffuser just to see how it looks and probably the middle portion of the front bumper between the upper and lower grille.

Here are some pics:

Nice, loving it. Do you heat shrink the vynyl or something? Did you do it yourself?

Looks good! Cant wait to do this too, what size roll did you end up going with, assuming you planned to have excess for the other parts you wrapped....

Yea did it myself with a couple extra sets of hands to help. A little heat is needed to stretch the edges but that's it. Just a felt wrapped squeegee, knifeless tape and exacto knife were used.

Nicely done. I love it when an accent to a car makes such an impact.

araffio,
Well done. How do you prevent scratches on gloss black vinyl?

You can't prevent it from scratching. Waxing it helps with minor scratches but anything worse than that and the vinyl will need to be peeled and replaced
