Strut insulators on 2011 max

I know the insulators were recalled on the 2009-2010 models. Anyone having issues on the 2011+ Max? Ive had a sound coming from the front right suspension, almost as if the strut was blown. I tested the suspension and no excessive "bounce", which without taking the strut assembly out would indicate a good strut. I did not get a chance to remove the strut assembly and inspect the strut insulator or strut bearing.

I get sounds over every single bump that sounds like air is spitting out. I've had my car in the shop numerous times to fix the problem and they say they can never duplicate the noise when on a road test, even when I am in the car with them and point out what I'm talking about. They act totally clueless and say "That's normal"

My previous '08 Maxima had a similar issue with noise going over bumps and that too was never fixed.

When my lease is up, this will be the last Maxima I own. The build quality on these cars is garbage. My windows rattle, sunroof shakes when it's closing and I just crossed the 20,000 mile mark. Ridiculous.

Completely normal behavior. The dealership is right here. Another note, many many cars do this. I don't see why you think it's a Maxima problem...?

Not saying it's just a Maxima issue, but I'm on my second one and these exact same issues were on both. So for me, the Maxima is batting 0 for 2.

Don't get me wrong, the car drives nice and the styling is great. But if I wanted a brand new car that will start having rattles at 20k miles, I'll buy a KIA.

I have this problem and have been to te dealer numerous times to complain, they tightened this tightened that. Now sometimes I hear it sometimes I don't and just live with it. It really doesn't bother me, but I could see where it bothers people because wen I first got the car I was like wtf. I've inspected things for myself and everything looks good so it's whatever.

The air sound you hear ryan31 is normal. Its the sound a strut makes when it is compressed. Its more prominant on some makes and models than others.

The sound I'm referring to is hard to describe. Its definitely suspension related and I'm almost sure its either the insulator or bearing. The sound is like a wobble sound. If that makes sense
