Lumbar support

The lumbar support on my '09 SV failed. The dealer is checking to find out if it is covered under the Gold preferred + warranty. Wondered if anyone else has had a failure and if it was repaired under the extended warranty.

I was just given a 8 year /100K mile zero deductible Gold preferred warranty by Nissan.

It covers just about everything besides brake pads, battery, tires, interior rattles

Body and Interior: All body and Interior components except soft trim items.

Dealer said it was not covered, $2100 to fix. All interior is covered except soft trim and I would bet the lumbar support is not soft trim. Called the 800 number and I will be notified tomorrow after it is reviewed by higher-ups.

Waiting patiently.

FYI the call center is in the Philippines
