Tpms ?

i just recently purchased rims and tires from another max owner because my rims are curb rashed up.

my question is how does tpms work is it connected to the rims and i can just swap the rims and still be able to get this reading or do i have to take it off my current rims?

Did you get a TPMS with the rim purchase?
If not just use (re-install) yours on the new rims.

If you now have an extra set of sensors I will buy them from you!

Yes, if you received a stock 7th gen Nissan tire/wheel set you should be OK.

you may need to get the car programmed to read the new sensors. Not sure though.

I have a set of TPMS Sensors in my aftermarket 20's and everytime i switch from summer to winter (OEM) wheels and back again, the light comes on (!) and has to be reset. It will blink for a few moments and stay on steady.

New Tpms sensors will have to be calibrated to vehicle, you can reuse your factory ones in new rims as well... Super easy thing to do some places

You can calibrate new tpms sensors to your vehicle .. Any tire shop will have the equipment to do it . Some places will charge for it though
