Hesitation.
Hesitation.
Since I bought my car new, it is a 2013 it has had a hesitation when accelerating. I have had it back to the dealer 2 times and no fix. I really don't want to go there and sit all day and come back with the same problem. As a home mechanic with 40 years experience and 15 years working invarious dealers what is involved.
It could be a bunch of things obviously, but just a suggestion: there was a thread a couple years back regarding increasing idle by 75rpm with timing advance. I haven't been to the dealership with my Max yet but there's a printout with instructions a fellow .org member was nice enough to create with step by step instructions that you can hand them. I'm going to have them do it to see if it feels like there's more life to the car.
I don't have the link to the URL of the page, but TheIntrepidMontti posted it on 3/8/12 and gave credit to Nismo_Star.
Good luck.

Do u mean hesitation like its slow on take off or just putters and barely moves? If your saying it's just slow, it's normal...these cars have a sluggish take off I'm sure do to there weight. Once your past 20-30 mph, these cars are fast
I had the valve body replaced on my 2010 due to hesitation problems but it was a known issue with a TSB involved and it was just for the 09-10 models.
Did you take the Nissan tech out with you and drive the vehicle to replicate the issue?
Do they agree there's a problem?
If they agree that there's an problem then they need to fix it.
You need to test drive car before taking it home to verify they fixed it. If it's not fixed don't drive off the dealership lot. Tell them they need to keep it until it is fixed and to give you a loaner car.
If they refuse then tell them you will be in contact Nissan corporate due to an unresolved CVT warranty issue.
