Running Light Replacement Question
all,
I just purchased a 2011 SV last week
I noticed this past weekend that the driver's running lamp lens is cracked/broken
i called the dealership & they said that i have to buy the whole light assy. ($290)
can anyone tell me if this sounds right & if anyone knows of a better way to either get a replacement or a cheaper way to fix it
I can do the work I just want/need the part??
Thanks!!!

You can look on eBay for new/used or amazon or even Craig's list for a lot cheaper price there are aftermarket ones that start at $200 but the weather seals on them aren't that great after a while you will start to get moisture in them
Thanks for the reply, I will look tonight at those options. I also found after a little investigating I came across these...

i was wondering if these would be as close as direct replacement as possible?? also, anyone have any experience with the company and or product(s)??
thanks again,

ok all, I ordered the light above & should arrive around friday. I jacked the car up last night & took a look around. The bottom valance cover is fairly easy to remove... once you figure out how the clips work
I used a small screw driver (star head-t20) to remove the 2 screwes that hold the light in place. the light came right out & I unplugged it. Overall the remove & replace proceedure is not difficult at all & I think could be done by most poeple. It is insane that the dealer & or body shop charge upwards of $200 or more for this "work"
... anyways when part arrives & I install it back in I will do a right up again.....
thanks!!
