TPMS question
This may be a dumb question, but I have the 2009, which simply has one idiot light for the TPMS system, so am not familiar with the four light system
On later 7th gens with the four TPMS lights - I have wondered if the wheel positions represented by the four lights changes when the tires are rotated? It would seem that the TPMS sensor in a wheel would trigger the same light on the dash no matter where it was positioned on the car.
The only way I can see each of the four dash lights always representing the same wheel position would be if the sensors are moved during tire rotation so as to stay in the same place (and I'm sure they aren't), or if internal antennas inside the car are able to detect which wheel position each sensor is in.
I'm sure the answer is fairly simple, but I was just curious.
