Heated seat fix

Hi guys,

Just picked up my 2014 premium with tech on Wednesday. I had a 2010 before. Never had any issues with the passenger heated seat on my 2010 but the wife says she feels a little heat on the seat back and nothing on the seat bottom on the 2014. From a search looks like its a common problem, but I didn't see if or how the dealer fixes it? Do they fix it? My drivers seat could be warmer too.

Thanks for the help!

Funny how this keeps coming up. Issues since 2009. Maybe Nissan is hoping these problems will go away. It appears that the seats are not being properly assembled in Mexico. Poor quality control and Nissan and their dealers are basically ignoring the problems. Let us know what the dealer and Nissan have to say. Ask them if you can compare the seats in another Maxima. Hope you have a good dealer who will take care of the problems and not give you the run-a-round like so many have experienced.

Nissan sure knows how to take the joy out of a new car purchase.

I bought a 2014 a couple months ago with similar issues. The climate control drivers seat is probably not ducted properly. The passenger seat is probably mis-wired but even once it is wired correctly probably still won't give you much heat. Just designed that way.

Thanks for the input. I'll let you know what they say. I have purchased a few cars from them as well as referred some business their way, so hopefully they will not brush me off. It is pretty sad for a $40k car.
