New member, new maxima, need mods

Just bought a 2014 maxima with the sport package, and need some mods. First thing is drop springs, I'm thinking 2". Eibach? Next is a trailer hitch for my jetski, what's a good brand? 3rd is rims, what are the widest that will fit without rubbing? I should be picking up the car Monday. I'm in palm beach gardens if anyone knows any good shops here.

The Eibach's won't get you 2", but they are the only ones available for our cars at the moment. H&R has not put theirs out yet. I think Racerbox has H&R's from an Altima on his max. You can PM him for details. Other than that, you can go with coilovers.

As for rims...there's a whole thread that should answer your questions.

Ok I thought about it and decided what I'm going to do. I'm going to order the eibach springs, and do some h&r spacers and keep the sport rims. Do I need a camber kit with these springs? Also which of the 3 types of h&r spacers are the best? I think it will look good a little lower with the fenders filled out, how many mm should I go with? You guys have great looking cars btw!

Do you have any more pics of your car? I see you have spacers in your sig and wanted to see what it looks like, also I wanted to see the rear window spoiler.

Welcome! It'll be interesting to see a hitch installed. I don't think I've seen anyone do it yet!

For spacers I went with 20 & 25mm's. I think they worked out very well.

Thanks!

Do not use am impact wrench to tighten them down. Doing that could damage them. I bought the ones with the lugs in place. I bought them from stillen.

Never let anyone use an impact wrench on your rims period. I've only run into issues with people cross-threading or over-torquing cause they're too lazy to do **** by hand.
