LED Turn Signals Suggestions

Does anyone have LED turn signals (amber specifically) on their front and/or rear of their Maximas? If you do, would anyone mind taking a picture of the turn signals in direct sunlight? Also taking suggestions on which particular bulb to purchase!

I have been researching replacement amber LED bulbs for the turn signals on the Maxima (front and rear) for a while, and I still cannot make up my mind on which bulb to purchase and if they are worth the cost. I know that the V-LED Tritons are one of the most renowned, but I currently do not want to spend $100+ for a pair of turn signals. The reasoning behind this is that I was behind an 8th generation Accord about a couple months back with the V-LED 21 Platinum Red LEDs (these are $50 btw) that lit the large brake housing perfectly and was much brighter than stock; the Accord was next to another Accord with the stock incandescent so it was an easy comparison. I knew it was V-LED because the car had a V-LED sticker on the window and I could see the bulb.

I understand that our cars require a 3157 CK based bulb and I will need resistors, but of all the posts on the Internet, there are no daytime pictures where the sun is facing the bulb or the bulbs have changed over the years. Also, does anyone know how to access the bulbs on the taillight housing?

Thanks.

I can absolutely vouch for the V3 tritons. I use those on my 5.5 gen and the performance is outstanding. However you'll get good performance out of the light towers that VLED's make.

Here are a few pics:

Rear brake lights, V3 on the left, standard on the right.

Rear turns (red V3 left, stock amber right)

Front Turns:

Quick night video (sorry for the quality).

What brand are your switchbacks? So you like this cheaper option? They work well and last a while? Would like to retrofit all mine to LED. Thanks.

Thanks for the video and pictures. The Tritons are definitely in a league of their own, but then I cannot seem to justify spending $145 a pair for just the turn signals. Take that to about $300 in total with shipping if I wanted to do the front and rear. Their lesser tier LED bulb (AMBER PLATINUM 21 LED) is only $50 for the pair and was brighter than a stock incandescent bulb when I was behind two Honda Accords in my OP. My goal is to have LED turn signals that fill up the turn signal housing fully while still being visible in direct sunlight from a distance like the OEM bulbs, and as long as it retains the same or better brightness. I'm digging the instant ON/OFF look to match up with the rest of the LEDs on the car. Just need to find somebody local who has LEDs in their cars (doesn't matter if it's a Maxima or not) so I can see how the LED will perform.

Would like to see some pictures especially in direct sunlight. Our turn signal area is quite large, so I am wondering if from afar does it fill the housing or have a narrow beam due to the LED being in the projector. Switchbacks are not a requirement at the moment for me.

Thanks! Do you have any links to the ones you purchased? I rather not have the switchbacks, but either way they look quite bright. Any way to get a direct shot in the sunlight from a distance instead of the sun being at an angle?
