Transmission Problems?

I just bought a 2014 Maxima and my question is this. When driving slower and the transmission is shifting from what I believe is 2nd to 3rd, I hear a slight knock and can actually feel it through the floor. If I drive at a higher speed it doesn't make the sound. Any thoughts or ideas? It has less than 1000 miles on it.

First of all your transmission is a CVT so it does not have gears. The noise that you are hearing at low speed may the be self check of the ABS system

I agree with this, it happens between 15-20 mph

A hard torque converter lockup may be a possibility if it happens during slow acceleration at 20-30 mph. Don't understand the noise though. If it is a hard shudder, that wouldn't seem normal to me. If that happens consistently enough for you be able to recreate it, I would have the dealer check it just to be sure. If they say it is normal, ask to drive another for comparison. Please keep us posted.

The ABS noise/check should only happen after the initial drive after staring the car. If it's happening multiple times it doesn't sound like that's what it is.
