sprintbooster question

i heard some people here have tried this. When its set to the most sesitive setting isnt it pretty much turning ETC off? because when its off people have said your gas pedal is touchy. I was wondering if thats pretty much what the sprintbooster is doing since the effect it gives is the same as turning off ETC in the uprev program. Reason why im asking because im wondering if sprintbooster is the cure for the throttle pull after 80mph. Has anyone with sprintbooster installed monitored the throttle to see if it stays a true 100 percent all the time?

They just change the throttle curve. As a very drastic simplification, think of throttle input as a line. Factory is a 20% upward slope. Sprint booster is a 60% upward slope, then a level line at the top.
It would have no effect on the 80+ (which would probably be illegal for you to be doing anyway)

I have it and like I said in my thread its a nice gizmo and if it were $50 I think virtually everyone here would buy it. Takes a second to plug and settings are changed instantaneously with a click. The green setting is quite pleasant and if you do race occasionally i can imagine the red can be useful. On expressway the best option is to have it turned off. It looks like a cheap 5 dollar piece of plastic and im surprised the chinese haven't knocked it off and dumped on ebay for $20 a piece. Then there would be no reason not to have it.

ya...well for me if all it does is sharpen the throttle without truely overriding the throttle control by the ecu then its pretty worthless to me.
