Mine is one click out. I wouldn't notice if it wasn't there.

I open mine weekly to clean all the dirt and other things out of it that always seems to collect in it. Otherwise I don't use it.

I have mine extended slightly. I'm 6'4" so my seat is all the way back and at first I thought the extendable support was gimmicky at best, but then I actually pulled it out a bit and found it to add some comfort, so I've left it extended.

The correct spelling should have been "thigh", for the thigh bolsters on the drivers seat of certain models.

Always use it.
It's one of the great ergo touches the seating incorporates.
Passenger side should also have it.

I have mine pulled out one notch. On long trips, I go to two notches. I alternate driving with my (shorter) wife, and she sets it back to no notches.

I use mine all the time, it is very comfortable and adds some extra support under the thigh so you are not holding your leg up (it does it for you).

What is this thigh support you speak of? Where do I find it?

I'm 6'4", so I am extremely curious. Never heard of it before.

Thanks.

Drivers seat, the front of the seat can be pulled out to support the thighs. There is a latch located just below the front of the seat that controls how far you adjust the support.

I don't think the microfiber/suede seats have it haha. I just went out to my car and tried to find this latch... but there is no way in hell that part of the seat is extending. It is connected.

Though I'm a hair under 6 feet tall, I have the legs of a man who is 6'2.
My thigh support is out one click for comfort. I didn't use it when I first got the car and found the seats lacking thigh support. Then I played around with the extender and now love love love love love love the seats. Best I've ever had in a car.

I have short legs so I don't really need it...
I must say that these seats are some of the most comfortable I've sat in.

Totally. More comfortable to me than my dad's BMW 528. Of all the cars I've driven, the Max is the only one that I can drive long distance without back pain. Plus, when/if I do have a little soreness, I flip on the seat heater and everything just relaxes.
Love the seats.

Thigh Support

The latch on my 2012 SV is busted. Lumbar support will slide in and out when getting in and out of the car. Anyone else have this problem?

You are spot on. I also have a BMW 535i with the luxury seating package and find the Maxima seats to be better. On the BMW I can't raise the seat as high as I like and can't lower the steering wheel low enough for my taste.
