Can't open drivers door from inside or outside car?!

My drivers door will not open from inside or not. The power lock does still work however. Any idea what this could be? Is it something common?

Is it cold out and have you taken it through a car wash lately?
Mine freezes up all the time.
The electic activator gets water in it.
Now I use WD40 prior to and after every winter wash.
I soak the lock set, door handle area and door latch area.
I had mine washed today and it will be -15 C tonight.
Here's hoping the WD does the trick or I'll be climbing over the console again.

Hard to tell. You could try and disconnect the neg batt term for a few minutes and reinstall then check the door.

The BCM in these cars does some weird chit!
I have had on-again off-again problems with the functionality of both left side doors in my car. In fact the left pass door lock finally decided to start working again today?
This is a total PITA because I'll start to think it's locking ok and if I'm not vigilant it will remain unlocked while the 3 other doors lock....so I have to pull on it each time I leave the car to verify it's locked or unlocked.

I had it in a garage for several hours and no luck. I took it to 4 body shops and none of them could get the door open, they said the latch is locked and they can't get it open. I have no choice but to take it to the dealer. Not sure what they can to get it open or If there's a way to get the door panel off with the door closed. We will see. Hopefully it doesn't cost an arm and a leg..

Went to the dealer. They said the actuator is broken. Cost is $550 to fix, HOWEVER if they can't get the open without breaking the door panel then is will cost $1050.

Holy moly man. You can get a whole new door for way less.

I just ordered the actuator. I'm going to a custom audio shop tomorrow, they said they think they can get the door open.

The gentleman at the audio shop was able to get the door open without breaking the panel. I'm definitely impressed considering 4 auto body shops said there was no way and the dealer said the same thing. A job that was quoted at $1050 from the dealer will now cost about $400.

Just goes to show, best to avoid the dealer whenever possible. Glad you found someone who was willing to put some effort into the repair.

Same thing happened to me. I just had the actuator replaced today for $291 installed at the dealership. I swear this car knows when I have money because something always seems to pop up.

How did you open your door? The same thing happened to me and I am trying to figure out what to do to fix it except for me it's the passenger side front door. A couple places said it would be around $50 for them to take the panel off to figure out what's wrong with it but I forgot to ask them if they know that there's no way to open the door for them to be able to take the panel off.
