Aaaarrrgh - someone called my Maxima an Altima

Have had my 2014 Maxima for less then a week when a colleague says: "Love the color of your Altima". I hate that.

Just smile and say something friendly such as 'I personally prefer the color of your very nice Yugo.'

That happened to me a few months ago too. The guy actually had an Altima and asked me how I liked mine. I told him I don't because it's a Maxima.

I'd rather say, "Yugo screw yourself"

My brother used to drive a passat as well.

When he got tired of it he got a scraper and some adhesive, then drove around in the one and only VW Pasta!

Biggest difference is that the Maxima is just one step higher up in the car food chain than the Altima. Kind of like comparing a Camry to an Avalon.
I've even sat in an Altima 3.5 SV which is the sportiest Altima that you can get (even has the V-6) and it pales in comparison to the Maxima. Altima still feels just like a nice commuter car whereas the Maxima is much closer to being a true sports sedan.
If you're rolling in a Maxima, you'd hate the Altima (except for maybe the gas mileage of the Altima 2.5)...

Let's all just keep in mind that unfortunately the majority of the general population is just clueless (or at least act as such) It's a wonder more of them don't just wear sweatpants and velcro sneakers that requires about the appropriate amount of effort lots of ppl put forth throughout their day.
