ideas?

the engine splash shield under the car has one black strap hanging, the circle on it that the pin goes through to hold it up is split. any ideas where I can get the strap without getting a whole new cover for $100?

I have this as well...going to tackle it this weekend. I've used zip ties & some drill action in the past.

 

same here, i did that to my wifes Quest with zip ties, I didn't see an easy way to do that on the Maxima though. Can you post back if you are successful? If I have to zip tie it I will

Went looking for rattles. Found the rubber strap holding the left front fender liner to another plastic shield ripped through at the hole. I removed the plastic fastener, got a small molly bolt, added fender washer and reattached it. WAY too many loose plastic shields around this car!

 

have the same prob I think. Only under light acceleration do I hear a rattle on driver side only
