19'' tire recommendations.

I bought some 19'' wheels from a maxima owner with the sport package. I need to buy tires now. I have no clue what brand or model of tire I should get. Could you guys help with some recommendations? I know the oem size is 245/40/19.

The Continental DWS is a very good tire, handles well & last a while.

I put Michelin Primacy MXM4's on mine and love them. Cost me over a grand installed but you can find them cheaper.

I have the stock 19" goodyears that came on the 2009 sport SV and had ton issues with them. I replaced a couple times and had numerous slow leaks repaired. Was the biggest issue i have with the maxima to this day. The battery went twice, that was other issue. Other than that, great car.

I must be the only guy on the forum that didn't mind the oem Goodyear and I live in CT lol. Granted when I need new tires I will be going for a different and hopefully better brand.

I have the OEM Goodyear, too. I don't mind them at all, but I'll replace with Pirelli when it's time. I had Pirellis on my '02 Max that I loved.

I put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s on my Mustang last year and really like them. Excellant dry handling and very competent wet/cold handling. When I have to buy a set for my Maxima, I will go with those.

I did not mind GY RSA and also live in CT.
I only got new tires last fall, when I had 80k on original RSAs.
I did tire rotations every 7.5k, and pulled out more nails that I could remember out of those tires.
The new tire is continental DSW, I like them.
