I have a 2013 Nissan Maxima and I recently noticed the floor is damp on the drivers side and the rear left passenger side . I took my car to the dealership and after several test they were unable to duplicate the leak . The powerwashed the sunroof and doors & windows to find the leak . They also checked under my car & left air conditioner on to see if it was cause the leak . After having my car for 2 days they were unable to locate the leak . Any clue what else could be causing my leak ?

 

I would say you have plugged up drain holes in your sunroof. You can Google it and there is a lot of DYI procedures on how to fix it. If they are plugged then wet carpet and seats are the usual outcomes. I might add that pressure washing the sunroof will not unclog the drain holes.

I took my 2013 maxima to another dealership today because after blowing drying my carpet completely dry and not driving it for 3 days my carpet is wet again on the rear drivers side again after driving it for a few hours . I was told my model does not have drain tubes in the sun roof & they have no clue where the leak is coming from . I am dumbfounded .

 

Is it raining a lot while you are driving? Parked in the rain?

 

When I first notice the leak it wasn't raining as much in my area . But I live in Oklahoma and we have had severe weather over the past month . I park my car under a carport so it does not get rained on as much expect when I am driving which I normally try not to be out when we are having severe weather . I would like to point out that last time the front and back seat was damp now only the back seat carpet is wet and the front is bone dry .
