Traded in for Pathfinder

The time has come, after a 2010, 2011, & 2012 Maxima, the wifey wanted a SUV. (I was able to trade up every year for roughly $500-$1000 due to VPP pricing and negotiations). KBB has my car valued at roughly $18k for trade-in and I got the dealer to give me $25k and I picked up at Platinum 4WD for $35,1XX (after rebates and VPP pricing) plus taxes minus $25,000 for trade. Overall a $10k difference. Thanks everyone on the forums, you guys have been a great help with random projects on all my maximas.

I was looking into getting the 2015 Murano or Pathfinder, however the dealer didn't want to budge much on the price and no rebates on Muranos currently. The price difference between the two SUVs (both Platinums) was going to be roughly $4-5k, which I couldn't justify.

I really like the brown leather the new murano has. Hopefully, the 17 Maxi gets it as an option.

Picking it up this Friday or Saturday, dealer is installing some accessories (illuminated kick plates, cross bars, rear bumper protector, rubber mats, and window tint). Got all that thrown in the price.

funny this thread comes up. My wife has a 2013 Altima SL loaded that she wants to get out of now since she put 61k on it since we got it used with 10k on it. She just told me to find a pathfinder loaded so my research begins. I hope you like the car boss!

Understand you dont like high mileage car but my 2010 has 148,000 problem-free miles. Most reliable car i have ever had. Easy on the wallet. If you got the $$ then go for it. I would have a new one every year if i could. But not realistic for my situation. Pathfinders rock tho. My best friend is still driving a 2000 PF with 295,000 original miles. Only standard maintenance. Drives like a new one.

Attached some pics, so far I installed 5K HID, PIAA Fogs, LED Interior, and DVD Hack/Override. Loving how smooth this car is compared to the Maxima. It feels solid.

Nice man. we just traded my wife 2013 Altima SL as well for a new pathfinder. we have the SL with the tech package. nice so far. only thing I have done to it is change out the lights interior and exterior then threw one pioneer pro 12 in the back. oh and tint the windows 5% since its legal in florida on a Suv lol. enjoy man when you make the upgrade. p.s cant decided if I want to do 22s or 24s. we still have the old set of 2s that came off the Altima.
