Hub Rings
So I've had my rims for quite sometime now & just started to experience strong vibrations while I'm driving on the highway. After taking it to the shop I found out I need Hub Rings for my rims.
Now I know the hub bore is 66.1 but the shop is telling me I need 73.1 hub rings for my rims. Anybody else have this problem or know more info on this? Thanks |
The wheel is 73 mm, the max is 66mm. The ring fills in the difference.
Ebay for $6. Right now the wheels are being held on center by the lug nuts. The hub ring helps keep the wheel centered and relieve a little stress from the lugs. Many people run without them, but it much harder to get the wheel on centered. |
