My tires arent even worn but with the heavy rains in florida this time of year the crappy Eagle RSA's that came with it have caused many close calls at such low speeds in the rain that id rather not even chance it anymore id rather be safe than sorry. I am currently comparing the Continental extremecontact DW, Michelin Pilot super sport, pirelli P Zero all season plus and the pirelli P7 all season plus. Anybody that is currently running any of these please give me some feed back so I can get rid of these dangerous Eagles! Thanks guys!
My vote would be Mich. Primacy MXM4, expensive but I love mine. Quiet and nice riding. I have heard a lot of great feedback on the Conti's but I could not find them locally when I got my Primacy's.
I just bought a set of Hankook's (Ventus S1 Noble 2 H452) for my '11 SV Premium. I bought the car with 29K on it and thankfully the OEM RSA'a were done.
The difference is night and day. Much quieter, smoother, and great when wet, especially here in Florida monsoons!.
I live central Florida and could not agree more with your assessment of the RSAs in Florida weather. I drive a bit so when my RSAs went at 72,000 miles I replaced them with Michelin MXV4s which worked great for another 110,000 miles and I replaced that set with more MXV4s. Now at 291,000 and will be putting of a set of the Michelin Premier AS (alas this is the replacement for the great MXV4) at the end of the month. I can only hope they are as good here in the Florida "rainshine" as the MXV4s.
The Michelin Premier A/S is designed to perform especially well on wet roads. I have them and like the quiet, comfortable ride in addition to the improved grip. Currently offered with a $70 rebate at Costco and probably other places.
Got the Continental PureContact Ecoplus. Got two on the rear and have the RSA's on the front. HWY MPG improved to 28.4 from 26. Got a nice nail in the sidewall of one of them too! Nothing like a nail in a new tire. Less than 1k miles.

How are they in the rain? and ugh you dont have to tell me when I first got my max i got a nail in first 48 hours and about 4 since. no luck with tires lol
I have had the Continental DWS in three sizes and highly recommend them.
My understanding is that the DW are even better. They are a great compromise on ride, handling, and tread life. I got 38k miles out of my first set, sold the second, and the third only has 15k on it.
Summer tires will always outperform any all-season tire as it does not have to sacrifice to accommodate for snow or ice and were designed to handle wet and dry weather, although if those were the conditions you were driving an all-season is probably not what you're looking for in the first place. If you live in Florida, I doubt you see weather entering the 30s or 40s, so you can definitely get away with a summer tire.
Consider the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Pricey, but it is a class-leader in performance and longevity. It also has a prorated warranty (30k miles). If you need an all-season, Michelin also offers the Pilot A/S 3.
I installed Michelin Primacy tires 30k miles ago after the stock Goodyear GSAs were done at 30k. The tires still have half their tread life left at 90k on my 2011 SV. Install Michelins, they last much longer.

I hear ya man ive been doing plenty of research as well as taking in all the feedback and it most likely be michelins or the contis. I remember getting the extreme contact DWS on my civic to replace michelins and it wasnt even close we shall see.

I can't really say how they are in the rain since their installed in the rear. I still have the RSA's up front and understand why you're changing them out. Traction control even has to kick in If I am heavy on the gas coming out of a turn.

Yeah I realized that was a dumb question a few hours later lol and yeah they still have plenty of tread left but I really dont wanna chance it any more with the heavy rains here.
I went with the Sumitomo HTR Z III tires in a 245/35ZR20 and I couldn't be happier. They ride smooth and quiet, Handle great on dry or wet pavement, and only cost $120 a tire (more standard sizes might even be cheaper). I've only had them on for around 10k miles, but they still look new. And at less than half the price of the P Zeros or Pilot Super Sports, they would have to wear ridiculously fast to not be a good deal.
The Sumitomo tires are pretty highly regarded on the BMW and Mustang forums. While that isn't a direct endorsement, I feel like those drivers have similar goals and values for their tires.
