What should I expect to pay?

Hello all, I am really new to this all and I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I am going to be purchasing a 2014 maxima and wanted to see what you guys think I should pay for one. ( rough estimate, ball park figure)

I plan to purchase one next feb. so the 8th gen will be out everywhere I'm sure, plan on buying it used with the premium package and tech packages.. I absolutely love the darkened tires on the sports package but seem to be leaning more towards the premium over the sports. I live in Iowa and want to purchase one with under 50 thousand miles.

Also if the windows are not tinted I would like to get them tinted so was curious as to how much that usually cost, I know Iowa has laws against too much tint so I will have to look into how dark they can be. Thanks guys/gals!

Its not very dark at all, pretty much factory tint. Most city cops will not bother you unless its very obvious, but the state troopers will. I usually pay the fine once every couple of years, my last few cars have not been very dark but darker than the Iowa code allows. It's an $86 ticket after all the court costs and crap, at least it was the last time I got one. However, it's better than a speeding ticket because it won't affect your insurance. So if you are nice to the trooper that pulls you over for speeding some of them will warn you for speed and write you up for the tint...

Based on a thread last month, 24k was the consensus on rough price, lower for higher miles.
Window tint is $150-400 depending on where you have it done and the quality level.
35% tint is legal in most states.

Iowa Tint law:

Tint darkness for sedans:
  • Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
  • Front Side windows: Must allow more than 70% of light in.
  • Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used.
  • Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.
