Im new here. Got myself a used Maxima 2010, S version, Alphine grey with 47k kms run. Moved from a Lancer GTS, so im loving this for sure.
My Maxima has its exhaust tip on one side messed up by a previous owner. The inner piping remains straight, while exhaust end tip covering got bent towards a side and crumbled enough to make it unfixable (although no problems in daily running). Replacing it with dealer would require replacing the whole muffler assembly, and this is a waste. Besides both the exhaust tips on mine are rusted and hence prefer both exhaust tips are changed.
So i plan to take it to a exhaust repairing shops, have only the stock tip cover cut off, and replace it with something else. I intend to get this :

Comparatively pricey but looks cool. But im not sure of it would even fit. The ebay details say "Air vent nozzle of your car must be between 57-65mm".
Ours is 57mm, so it would fit. Even if it wasn't perfect, any competent exhaust place could make it work.
Seeing as those are clamp in, you could do it yourself.
