Coil overs for a 2010 Nissan Maxima S

Hey guys I need help!
I am thinking about upgrading to coil overs for my Nissan maxima but I'm not sure what type to get. I have gotten in some cars that have coils and the ride is great but bumpy on other ones. Does the type of suspension of the car play a roll on that? Also, if anyone has installed coil overs on their maxima what brand did you use and how is the ride? I'd really appreciate the feedback. Thanks

Many of us have BC coils. A few of us have the stiffer springs installed as well.

I have the stiffer springs on my car. I think the ride is fine, but can be a little rough on bad roads. It is nothing like a stock touring vehicle. It is definitely a sports car ride.

BC is slightly more expensive than the other options, running about $1k, but from people's discussions over the years, they seem to have the highest satisfaction, and I am very pleased with mine with over 25k miles on them.

To answer your other question, suspension design plays a huge role in how the different suspension setups feel.

Thanks! That actually helped me out. I sure will take a look in to them.
I noticed that you have installed a rear sway bar. How that work out for you? did it make a difference?

I'm running KSPORT Coilovers with the damping in the rear set to 18 out of 36 and in the front at 24 out of 36 (24 being 12 from the stiffest not softest). I'm very pleased with these coilovers but I'm sure that are better brands by far. With those settings though I have found the car more responsive but not as rough so I'll keep it like that
