100k mile CVT fluid change

I recently hit 100k miles in my 2010 Maxima and changed my CVT fluid for the 2nd time since owning it. I change my oil every 5k miles, my CVT fluid every 50K miles and I rotate my tires every 7500 miles.

For the 2010 Maxima, Nissan recommends the cvt fluid be changed at 100k miles. I hope everyone who owns a Maxima realizes that 100k miles is way too long. At 50k miles my fluid was light brown, today after 100k miles it looked like well used motor oil.

I attribute that to me living in the California desert for the past 18 months where the summertime temperature averaged 110 degrees. I hope to have this car for at least another 100 to 150k miles or to 2020, whichever comes first.

Yeah I just changed mime at 60,000 and went through the dealer for the full change. I also changed the inline filter seeing that nissan was trying to charge me $120 to do it I just did it myself in 30 minutes from start to finish.

I change mine every 30k. I think 50k is too long of an interval.

My goal is also 30k miles. Last changed it at about 35k mile after Nissan replaced the CVT in my car. The next one will be at 30 on the dot.
