I have been wanting to do something to the massive front emblem without totally removing it, and I was wanting to black it out or paint it to match the color of the front grille. Anyways, my idea was the maybe plati dip it and fill in the nissan letters pearl white to match my car color. In order to remove the emblem, does the stock grille need to be removed first? Also, does anyone know where I could find a decal overlay for the emblem, or decals to fill in the letters on the emblem? Thanks

I think if you just squeeze on the emblem it comes off

 

I was thinking of swapping the 3 point star from the SEC coupe grille on to the Maxima just to confuse people
