Door Handles: Dip, Paint or Leave Chrome?

Hello all!

I'm about to go out and get everything I need to dip (black with plasti dip's glossifier) all of the chrome (i.e., window trim, trunk piece, emblems and front grill frame) on my Satin White Pearl '12.

I'm torn on what to do with the door handles though, so thought I'd get your thoughts an opinions. Should I leave them chrome, dip them along with everything else or get them professionally painted to match the body?

If I get them painted... Has anyone done this or does anyone have any idea as to how much that might run?

Thoughts and opinions appreciated! Thank you!

Funny enough, I was at the dealership yesterday afternoon and they had a used maxima on the lot that was White with plastidip on the grill, window trip, and door handles. It looked pretty good on the handles from afar, but when you got up close it was a little streaky and was rubbing off quite a bit. Since it's a part you touch all the time, I don't personally feel that the plastidip is durable enough.

I'm having my door handles color matched and wrapping the chrome around the windows with black vinyl

Oh, that's coincidental for sure! Thanks for the pictures! Definitely not a fan of the handles like that though. Looks like color-match paint is will be the route.

I may end up doing exactly this. Have you gotten a price on the handles yet? If so, can I ask ballpark?

The cost to wrap the parts in vinyl may be a little less than paint but it won't hold up as well as paint and will have some edges/seams that can fail. That is a very hard part to wrap. I would suggest having it painted.
