Aries 3Floor Mats
Aries 3Floor Mats
Might seem like a trivial thing but why not...
A friend of mine purchased weathertech mats for his SUV. They're nice but sort of utilitarian looking. I wanted something a bit more aesthetic but just as practical. Took a leap of faith ordering these Aries 3D mats. I just put them in and think I'm pretty happy. As you can see, they're molded / contoured to make "wells" kind of like the Weathertechs, but the top most surface is textured to resemble something softer than just a rubber liner. That top surface however is rubbery and hose-able. The bottom is fiberously textured they say to help it stick to the carpet. Seems to work. The retention hook hole does not come with a plug to cover it. The Aries logo is kinda big.
I'll use em for a while and report back on durability and maintenance.

Oh those are the same as the MaxpiderMat product from Costco.ca. I am sure they are coming from the same manufacturer. Costco Canada offer these and they are great. Much cheaper than Weathertech and better design overall.
I only have them for 10 months but one piece has been gone through 2 powerwasher spray at 1400psi. No problems from the blast.

No I didn't because I have the stock one and it isn't in bad shape. The only thing I keep in my trunk is my golf and gym bag so it doesn't need anything tough. Not hauling concrete and building materials in the Max.
One thing you will notice when you get them is they feel really light and thin. Don't worry. They are extremely durable and have held up for me all summer. They also will not slide around at all. Winter will be a different ordeal but they have passed the test so far.
