Looking for a how-to on Brakes

Is there a how to for changing brake pads on. 2012 maxima

Paid someone to change my brakes but it doesn't look right.just want to get a second opinion. It looks like pad is upside down

It sure does look upside down.

However, this is not the correct place to be posting problems with your car. This forum is for the building you park your car in, not for problems with your car.

Just swapped out my warped rotors which requires removing the pads/calipers/brackets. I think I found a video on youtube that showed the process. Don't think it was for my specific year/model of Maxima (iirc), but after comparing the equipment it was entirely applicable.

It's a pretty easy process; I suspect even easier if you're just replacing the pads since you dont' have to take off the caliper brackets or pound off the rotors.

wow man, that must be making one hell of a noise when engaging brakes.
Flip the pads asap before they are ruined.
Check both wheels and both in and out pads.

I am shocked that the pads would even be able to be put back together backwards, but that's what looks like happened here!
