Hi,


Maxima 2010 S. I would like to place an aftermarket GPS in place of the factory screen and add a wireless camera. Say - I buy a 7" Garmin combo like that, disconnect and take out the factory screen and mount the GPS there, than add the camera in the back. Questions:


Anybody has done anything like this - if so, how and what problems?
Will the HVAC controls still work the same (I understand I will not see the their icons on the screen) - but will the screen removal effect their operations/functionality?

Your best bet will be installing an android or a apple mirror mod. this allows you to mirror your phone onto your screen. I don't know about the back up camera part of it though.

Thanks, but I do not want to do that. I do not want to involve my phone and I have only one 1GB of data. I simply do not spend more money than I need (not want).
